絶対に行きたい！HONDA BAYアイランドホッピングツアー  You must go! HONDA BAY Island Hopping Tour

プエルト・プリンセサの中心部から車で30分くらいでHONDA BAYに到着します。そこからバンカーボートにてアイランドホッピングツアーに参加します。ツアーは昼食付きで3島をまわります。最高に楽しい時間を過ごせると思います。以下に詳細を紹介します。

It takes about 30 minutes by car from the center of Puerto Princesa to reach HONDA BAY. From there, you will take an island hopping tour by bunker boat. The tour includes lunch and visits 3 islands. I think you will have a great time. Here are the details.

ツアー申込み方法  How to apply to a tour

• ツアーの申し込みは2つあります。1つはホテルのフロントで申し込む。もう1つは個人でツアー会社のHPやFacebookから問合せて申し込む。個人で申し込む場合、参加費を交渉できたりします。言い値でなく交渉してみて下さい。
• タイプとして、グループ（他の人と船を10人くらいでシェア）とプライベイトがあります。当然プライベイトの方が1人あたりの参加費は高くなりますが、各島の滞在時間を気にしなくていいので、とてもいいです！ちなみにグループ参加だと1人1500ペソ前後。プライベートだと1ボートで5000-6000ペソで、交渉次第で変わります。今は原油価格高騰でもう少し参加費が高くなっているかもしれませんね。

• There are two ways to sign up for tours: one is at the front desk of the hotel. The other is to make an individual application through the tour company’s website or Facebook page. If you apply to a tour company by yourself, you may be able to negotiate the participation fee. Try to negotiate, but not at the asking price.
• There are two types of tours: group tours (where you share the boat with 10 other people) and private tours. Although the private tour is more expensive per person, you don’t have to worry about the time you spend on each island! Group participation is around 1500 pesos per person. Private baiting is 5,000-6,000 pesos per boat, depending on the negotiation. Now the participation fee might be a little bit higher due to the rising oil price.

当日のバンカーボートに乗るまでの流れ  Flow of the day of the tour

1. ツアーの日にホテルまで大きいバンで迎えにきてくれます。超楽ちんです。
2. グループ参加の場合、参加者のホテルに寄ってピックアップしていきます。
3. 途中、シュノーケリング機材やアクアシューズのレンタルやさんに寄ってくれます。アクアシューズはあった方がいいと思いますが、ヘルメット型のシュノーケリングはオススメしません。普通のでいいと思います。
4. BONDA BAYに着いたら、ガイドさんが船の手続きをしてくれているので、しばらく外で待ちます。その間、貝殻ネックレスなどの売り子さんが寄ってきます（笑）

1. A large van will pick you up from your hotel on the day of your tour. It is super easy.
2. If you are in a group, we will stop by your hotel and pick you up.
3. On the way, they will stop by a snorkeling equipment and aqua shoes rental shop. I think you should have aqua shoes, but I don’t recommend helmet type snorkeling kit. Regular ones are fine.
4. When you arrive at BONDA BAY, the guide will take care of the boat procedures and you will wait outside for a while. During that time, sellers of seashell necklaces and other items will come by ( lol ).

いざ、アイランドホッピングへ！  Now it’s time for island hopping!

❶LULI ISLAND

• とても小さな島です。この島は潮が高い時は、海の下に隠れてしまうこともあります！例え陸地が見えていたとしても行く季節や時間帯に寄っては船が近づけないこともありますので、プレミアム感の高い所です。
• 海の透明度は申し分がなく綺麗でシュノーケリングには最適です。レンタルしたシュノーケリングキットを使って思う存分楽しみましょう。近くに高台式の小さな建物があり、そこから海に向かってジャンプして飛び込むこともできます。やってみて下さい。
• シュノーケリング場所の反対側にはマングローブがあります。ここ一体は浅瀬になっていて歩いて近くまで行くことができます。浅瀬の砂にはヤドカリ？やカニ？がいて探すの楽しいです。
• 疲れたら無料の屋根付きハンモックエリアでのんびりできますよ。最高です。ただこの島にはビールは売っていません。それがあったら極楽でしたね（笑）
• また無人島ですが簡易トイレがある建屋があるので安心して下さい。

• LULI ISLAND is a very small island. When the tide is high, this island is sometimes hidden under the sea! Even if you can see the land, depending on the season and time of day, the boat may not be able to get close to the island, so it is a premium place.
• The clarity of the ocean is impeccably clean and perfect for snorkeling. Use the snorkeling kit you rented and enjoy to the fullest. There is a small elevated building nearby from which you can jump into the ocean. Give it a try.
• On the other side of the snorkeling area are mangroves. The whole area is shallow and you can walk to the edge of it. In the sand in the shallows, there are hermit crabs? and crabs in the shallow sand. It is fun to look for them.
• If you get tired, you can relax in the free covered hammock area. It’s great. The only unfortunate thing is that they don’t sell beer on this island. If they did, it would be a paradise ( lol ).
• Also, although it is an uninhabited island, there is a building with a simple toilet, so don’t worry.

❷STARFISH ISLAND

• 2つめの島はSTARFISH ISLANDです。名前の通りヒトデが沢山いる島です。これが結構大きいので最初はビックリしました。日本ではこんなに大きいのを見たことがなかったです。
• この島で昼食をとりました。下の写真を見て下さい、南国のメニューって感じで美味しそうですよね。実際にとっても美味しかったですし、量もたくさんあって大満足なランチでした！
• 昼食の後は島を散策しましょう。透明度の高い海が目の前に広がります！最高！

• The second island is STARFISH ISLAND. As the name suggests, there are many starfish on this island. I was surprised at first because they are quite large. I had never seen such large ones in Japan.
• We had lunch on this island. The menu looks like a tropical menu, doesn’t it? In fact, it was very tasty, and the quantity of food was very satisfying!
• After lunch, let’s take a walk around the island. The crystal clear ocean spread out before our eyes! It’s the best!

❸COWRIE ISLAND

• 最後の島はCOWRIE ISLANDです。ここはホンダベイの港から一番近い島になります。海水浴にぴったりの砂浜が広がります。
• ここは休憩所もたくさんありますし、トイレもあります。
• あと、最高なのはここにはビールが売っています！ビーチで飲む冷えたビールを飲んで至福のひとときをお過ごし下さい。フレッシュフルールのシェークやスナックも売っています！
• カヤックも借りることもできて、色々と楽しめますよ。

• The last island is COWRIE ISLAND. This is the island closest to the port of Honda Bay. The sandy beach is perfect for swimming.
• There are many rest areas and toilets here.
• And the best part is that they sell beer here! Enjoy a cold beer on the beach and enjoy a blissful moment. They also sell fresh fruit shakes and snacks!
• You can also rent kayaks and have all sorts of fun.

3島とも本当に素晴らしく、またぜひ行きたい、って思えるアイランドホッピングの旅でした。
